If you plan to run in Tamarack’s 2020 Virtual Race, you can make your race count by raising funds for L’Arche Ottawa.
The Tamarack Races includes 10 different races and events. To participate in the Ottawa Tamarack Races and raise pledges follow the following steps. (Note: if you are already registered in Tamarack Ottawa Virtual Race Weekend, go directly to step 2.)
Step 1: click here to select the race that you wish to register in and follow instructions for registration. Be sure to use the PROMOCODE: 2020CHARITYRUNNER . There are several advantages to using the link and the PROMOCODE
you will receive 20% off the registration cost
L’Arche receives $5 for your registration
your participation and your pledges will increases L’Arche Ottawa’s chances of winning a cash prize offered by the Scotiabank Charity Challenge
And there’s even more … if you raise $500, you will receive free entry into next year’s race.
And now you are ready to go to step 3.
Step 2: If you have already registered for one of the Tamarack Races, but now wish to raise money for L’Arche Ottawa:
click here and sign in to Race Roster (top right of that registration page) using the email used at sign up.
Once you are logged in, select “Donate to a charity team” (left toolbar) and search L’Arche Ottawa, and “join team”.
On your page under your profile photo spot you'll see Edit pledge page, click that to customize. A screen will open where you can edit your fundraising goal, add to your page message, upload profile image.
Hit “Save updated pledge information” to apply your changes
